Located in Bristol, VA, Gary Widner is a NRA Training Counselor, which certifies him to teach qualified persons to be NRA Certified Instructors in Basic Pistol, First Steps Pistol, Basic Rifle, Basic Shotgun, Home Firearm Safety, Chief Range Safety Officer and Range Safety Officer. He is also a Regional Counselor for Refuse To Be A Victim,doing the seminars and training instructors. He also teaches gun safety classes that meet the Virginia requirements for a Concealed Handgun Permit.

Scott Thurston is a NRA Certified Instructor in Basic Pistol, Home Firearm Safety and Refuse To Be A Victim. He was a Primary Marksmanship Instructor in the United States Marine Corps for 8 yrs in both Pistol and Rifle, as well as a competitor for both the West Coast and Far East Marine Corps Rifle and Pistol matches. He also teaches the classes that meet the Virginia requirements for the Concealed Handgun Permit.

Nikki Thurston is in charge of our Women's Programs. She will be overseeing the Refuse To Be A Victim Seminars and other women's classes. She is very efficient with the handgun and has been shooting for 10 years.  

We teach pistol safety, pistol cleaning, pistol ammo and hitting your target with the pistol as well as rifle and shotgun.
